Perfect World Enters into New Licensing Agreement with Cubinet Interactive Thursday, 19 June, 2008 | | “Chi Bi” Licensed to Four Countries in Southeast Asia
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Cubinet Interactive Pte. Ltd. (“Cubinet”), a famous online game operator in Malaysia, has been announced as a licensed distributor of “Chi Bi” in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. This licensing agreement was signed with Perfect World Co. Ltd. (NASDAQ: PWRD) (“Perfect World” or the “Company”), a leading online game developer and operator in China on May 30, 2008.
“Chi Bi” is a 3D MMORPG developed by Perfect World which is based on the Three Kingdoms period in the Ancient China. Perfect World is co-promoting “Chi Bi” with China Film Group Corporation, inconjunction with the movie “Red Cliff,” which is called “Chi Bi” in mandarin.
