Batman: Arkham Knight’s Final DLC Has Arrived

December 22nd marks the arrival of Batman: Arkham Knight final DLC content from Rocksteady and it brings along with some familiar villains, as well as new Batsuits and Batmobile skins.

Batman Arkham Knight Season of Infamy

While Arkham Knight continues to face issues in the PC platform, Rocksteady remains consistent in bringing steady content to gamers post-launch with new story-based missions (Batgirl) and new challenges and skins. The DLC is the last of the Season Pass content promised by Rocksteady and it packs quite a punch from the Studio.

As for what gamers can expect from this DLC, the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion should prove to be quite the content with missions that brings back old villains such as The Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Ra’s Al Ghul and Mr. Freeze.

Here’s a brief overview of the missions included in Season of Infamy:

Wonderland: The Mad Hatter makes things personal as the villain lures Batman into a demented, hallucinatory battle of wits across Gotham City and within the pages of a twisted storybook.
Beneath The Surface: The World’s Greatest Detective and Nightwing venture out to investigate Iron Heights, a flying airship prison that housed Killer Croc, after it crashed in the waters surrounding Gotham City.
Shadow War: Picking up after the events of Batman: Arkham City, Batman’s devout moral code is pushed to its limits as Ra’s Al Ghul’s health rebounds with the help of the League of Assassins.
In From The Cold: Mr. Freeze returns to Gotham City, where he is immediately entrapped in Scarecrow and the Militia’s plan to destroy Batman. The Militia has kidnapped Nora and will return her to Freeze in exchange for Batman’s capture.

Rocksteady Studio themselves gave a deeper look at the villains that Batman will be facing with a 10-minute featurette that shows the DLC in action. Aside from that, Rocksteady showed off some of the skins that will be coming with the DLC, which includes The Dark Knight movie Batsuit, the original Arkham Batmobile from Arkham Asylum, and a Rocksteady Themed Batmobile skin.

Rounding up the DLC will be the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #5 that features Batman, the Batmobile, Nightwing, Azrael, and Harley Quinn in Freeflow Combat and Invisible Predator Health Incursion.

Batman Arkham Knight The Dark Knight Suit

With Rocksteady Studio finally closing the door on Batman, it remains to be seen what they have planned in the future. Here’s hoping we get to see a Justice League by Rocksteady Studio soon.
