Batman Problems Persist For PC Gamers As Batgirl DLC Is Postponed

Gamers are the world are enjoying Batman: Arkham Knight with its awesome gameplay and engaging story campaign. Well, almost all gamers, as the PC version is still being plagued with frame-rates and graphical issues. Now you can add missing out on the latest DLC as one of them.

Batman: Arkham Knight - Batgirl: A Matter of Family

The latest DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight will focus on Barbara Gordon, AKA Oracle, during her time as Batgirl. Batgirl: A Matter of Family is set years before Arkham Asylum when Jim Gordon was captured and held hostage by Joker and Harley Quinn. With the help of Robin, Batgirl sets out to rescue her father from Joker and his thugs.

From the looks of the trailer, the game is expected to continue the quality gameplay and storytelling that the Arkham series is known for, but, as of this moment, PC gamers shouldn’t be expecting it to come anytime soon. Due to the troubles that the PC versions is suffering, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the delay on the game’s Steam page.

Batman: Arkham Knight - Batgirl: A Matter of Family

Gary Lake-Schall, VP of Game Technology at WBIE wrote the following, “Our continued focus on getting the right PC fixes in place for the main game has had an impact on the development of all DLC content for the PC version of the game,” he continues, “This means that the Batman: Arkham Knight – Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC will not be available on July 14 for those who are currently playing the PC version of the game. We apologize for the delay and only want to make sure that any content that we offer is up to the standards that PC players expect.”

Ever since the PC fiasco for Batman: Arkham Knight, Warner Bros. have suspended the sales of the game for PC in order to focus on fixing the issues. Unfortunately, no plans or schedule have been released to resume the sales of the PC iteration with Warner Bros. stating that sales will resume once the game meets a “superior quality bar.”

Batman: Arkham Knight  – Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC will come to Playstation 4 and Xbox One on July 14th.
