Bethesda To Return With Another Press Conference For E3 2016

When Bethesda had their press conference during E3 2015, fans were treated to a Fallout 4‘s reveal and release date being announced alongside plenty of gaming goodness. It looks like Bethesda looks to do the same again as they officially announced their E3 2016 showcase.

Bethesda E3 2016

The announcement came from their official twitter account with the E3 press conference slated to begin on Sunday, June 12th at 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST. Although no details on what games will be present during the press conference, the image tweeted by Bethesda seems to indicate that popular franchises such as Fallout and Elder Scrolls might be coming.

Mostly likely, the focus will be on upcoming Bethesda games that are already been announced. Games such as Doom, Dishonored 2, and even Bethesda’s upcoming free-to-play title, BattleCry, might be getting the spotlight instead. There’s also a big chance that Bethesda will announce what Fallout 4‘s Season Pass content will be and when it will be released.

Dishonored 2 E3 2016

During E3 2015, Bethesda took to the stage and announced the long-developed Fallout 4, revealed the secretly-in-developed mobile game Fallout Shelter, gave an in-depth look at Doom and even announced Dishonored 2. While it’s unlikely for the publisher to top 2015’s press conference, fans can probably look forward to a few surprises in this year’s E3.

Initially, the publisher was not sure whether to commit to another press conference as marketing executive Pete Hines was quoted saying, “I don’t know if we’ll do one again. [2015] felt like the right time to do this kind of thing.” While it’s no indication of Bethesda making their press conference a yearly event, the fact that they are doing another one so soon means that the publisher still has plenty of games to share in 2016.
