Bethesda’s Creation Club Mod Platform Is Live For Skyrim: Special Edition

Bethesda has launched the Creation Club for Skyrim: Special Edition on all platforms, after having a short beta test that happened last week. To promote the launch, for a limited time only, the company is giving away their most prized dlc – Survival Mode for free until October 10th, 2017.

The company insists that the Creation Club isn’t paid mods, but the Skyrim Creation Club is a microtransaction marketplace that offers players a wide selection of extra content like weapons, armors, items, and game modes that are created by both Bethesda and third-party mod makers.

Creation Club mods are purchasable with Creation Club Credits and these mods are completely compatible with the main game and its official add-ons. Creation Club currency, which is called Credits, are now for sale and can be purchased in packs of various bundles on Steam.
