Blizzard Confirms 4K Support for Overwatch On Xbox One X

Blizzard confirms that Overwatch is getting an upgrade for the Microsoft’s new system Xbox One X. Overwatch is a fast-paced multiplayer shooter from Blizzard Entertainment, famous for franchises such as World of Warcraft and Diablo.

Overwatch team is excited with great possibilities Xbox One X opens. The team is currently exploring how the game experience can be enhanced on this platform to leverage the console’s incredible hardware, and is working on implementing 4K resolution in the game on Xbox One X. It is very important for the team to make sure the user interface looks natural on a truly big screen. We will share more details about our plans for 4K support on Xbox One X later.

With this upgrade, Overwatch will set to increase its player base due to the 4K feature. The game’s maps are filled with vibrant designs and viewing them realized in 4K is going to be a great experience. Blizzard did not provide an exact release date for the patch, however, it is likely that it will coincide with other updates for the game.
