Game Description

The Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has begun prior to the previous game Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. It started in the Flying Sanctuary City, where the three Vault Hunters Mordecai, Lilith and Brick captured the great Athena and asked her some questions, which she needs to answer.

After that, Athena followed the path of the other three Vault Hunters: Claptrap, Wilhelm and Nisha on a ship that is going towards the Hyperion, Helios. Along their journey, they are attacked by the Lost Legion and their spaceship crashed at the Hyperion moon base. They will meet Jack there and they will escape using a rocket headed to Elpis.

When they are already in Elpis, the hunters will seek help from a junk dealer named Janey Springs. The dealer will guide them to Concordia, which is a spaceport. The Vault Hunters will be led by Jack and they will ask assistance from Moxxi in finding the signal jammer.

They will then raid a Dahl station and will then find out that a persona of Concordia and also a former underling of Jack is the one that established the signal Jammer. During this event, Zarpedon activates the Eye of Helios, which will then release a powerful beam towards Elpis.

Meriff, the one who puts up the jammer will attack Jack, but will fail and be killed. Concordia is now secured and they will continue their path to recapture Helios.

They will now enter the base of Lost Legion, which is lead by two officers, which is The Skipper and The Bosun. They are finding some AIs in the area, which they can use to establish a robot army.

They will have a battle with Bosun and it will be defeated. The Skipper will reveal its true identity. Its true name is Felicity, which is the Artificial Intelligence they need.

After these events, they will now be headed to the robotics facility. There they will encounter Gladstone who is a scientist they need in creating the robot army.

Felicity together with the prototype machine of Gladstone, they can create robots without limitations. However, as the process goes, Felicity notices the violence that she will need to follow. Due to this, she is starting to disagree with the plan, and she will battle with the Vault Hunters, but will be defeated.

Now that they have their robotic army, the Vault Hunters together with Jack will now be headed to the Helios. They are also accompanied with two previous hunters, Moxxi, Lilith and as well as Roland.

They will need to attack the Eye of Helios because they found out that it is actually a great destroyer. Moxxi helps them to put some slag in the Eye. But, Moxxi revelead her true intentions why she is helping Jack.

This is to eliminate the Eye of Helios and stop Jack from having an ultimate ability. The hunters and Jack will then go back to the Elpis and they will see the opened Vault. The Vault Hunters will then fight with the Guardians of the Vault and will defeat the Asura-like Sentinel, which is its ultimate arm.

The defeated Sentinel will not produce any valuable item, but there will be a floating symbol. The symbol will give Jack a special vision, but will be broken down by Lilith, which will cause the burning of Jack’s face.

Lilith will disappear and will cause Jack to have vengeance on Lilith and as well as on other Pandora’s bandits.

Lilith will give commands to the Crimson raiders to kill Athena against Mordecai and Brick’s requests. But, Athena will be saved by an alien, which is actually one of the great Eridians.

Pros

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has lots of amazing features and better graphics, which will give enjoyment to the player. You will also love here the easy controls and easy to manipulate characters.

With its 3D graphics, you will have a different experience in playing. It also maintained the trademark humor of the previous Borderlands games and that is why if you enjoy playing the former Borderlands, you will also love this game with a different twist.

Cons

The Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is hated by other players due to its confusing graphic designs. Also, the players said that it is just an extension of the previous Borderlands games because it doesn’t give any vast deviations from the other games, especially the Borderlands 2.

Verdict

Overall, the story line of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will really give spice in playing the game. Not only will you enjoy the amazing action, but understanding the problems of the protagonists will drive you more on playing the game.

You will also be enticed into playing the game because of its wonderful 3D graphics. It’s confusing, but once you get used to it, you’ll appreciate it.
