Bravely Second: End Layer Will Come To North America On April 15

Be ready for the release of Bravely Default‘s sequel as Nintendo of America has officially announced the release date for the handheld RPG. Bravely Second: End of Layer, the sequel to the wildly successful turn-based RPG. The follow-up is set to come to Nintendo 3DS on April 15th.

The announcement came from Nintendo of America’s official twitter with a tweet of Square Enix’s tactical RPG making its debut on North America this year.

The rumor that a special edition for the game was also confirmed when a second tweet showed off the Colletor’s Edition of Bravely Second: End Layer, available for pre-ordering. The special edition will include the game, a 250-page art book, and also a CD soundtrack from the game.

The Collector’s Edition will run at $69.99 and will be limited in quantity, so if you want one, better pre-order one soon before they run out of stock.

In addition to that, Nintendo of America also announced that a demo of Bravely Second will also be available before the game’s release. The demo is said to have “a unique story” that’s separate from the game and comes with StreetPasses bonuses that will carry over to the full game.

The demo, titled “Bravely Second: End Layer – The Ballad of the Three Cavaliers,” is rumored to be quite massive and will last over ten hours. No details yet as to when the demo will be made available on Nintendo’s eShop, but it’s safe to assume it’ll drop before the full game’s release on April 15th.

Bravely Second: End Layer takes place in the same as universe Bravely Default and is set two years after the events of the first game. Players will follow the story of Tiz Arrior while exploring the land of Luxendaric. With the same battle system as the previous, gamers can expect plenty of in-depth mechanics making its return to Bravely Second: End Layer.

Bravely Second: End Layer is set for release on April 15th and will come exclusively to Nintendo 3DS.
