Check Out The Biggest Changes That Are Coming To Destiny Year 2

Big changes are coming to Destiny when “The Taken King” comes out on September 15th. Bungie decided to show off some of the new perks and changes that will be coming to Destiny Year Two during their Twitch live stream broadcast. And there were plenty of details to keep Destiny fans excited.

Fans who managed to catch the stream were treated to a slew of new information about the upgrades we’ll be getting once “The Taken King” comes out. But if you didn’t manage to watch the stream. We’ve outlined some of the big reveals below.

Vault space have been DOUBLED in Destiny: The Taken King – The most requested change that fans of Destiny had been clamoring for was delivered by Bungie. Weapons and armors have 72 slots while general items (formerly inventory), now have 36 slots.

New light levels will be determined by gear stats – Destiny fans shouldn’t dismantle their armor and weapons anytime soon as these will affect their light level. Which now represents the average attack and defense base stat for each Guardian.

Exotics can be re-brought and Legendary/Exotic weapons can be infused – Lesser problems for player’s inventory because now all exotics that they’ve found will be saved in terminals where they can re-buy them from. Year Two Exotics and Legendary can also increase their base attack/defense stat by infusing weapons.

Destiny: The Taken King will only have Legendary Marks as the single currency- Crucible and Vanguard marks are no longer being used in Destiny. Now, there’s a single unified currency called Legendary Marks that players will get from both PvE and PvP activities.

New bounties, new quests and new class specific rewards – All the old content from Year One will be revamped alongside a new bounty/quest page that tracks all your bounty and quests. There’s also new class specific missions that will net you class specific rewards.

A new heavy weapon, Arc Edge, will be coming to Destiny: The Taken King – Fans that loved playing with The Sword of Crota will be able to use a similar blade-styled weapon with Arc Edge, a sword type heavy weapon that looks pretty menacing.

Of course, there’s still plenty more to uncover plus Bungie will continue a series of live streams showcasing more of Destiny: The Taken King and the Year Two content.

Destiny: The Taken King is the latest expansion for Destiny and will launch on September 15th for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
