Blizzard Entertainment is bringing back the Darkening of Tristram event to celebrate the anniversary of Blizzard’s action role playing game Diablo 3 on January 1, 2018 at midnight PST till January 30.

By completing activities in-game, the limited anniversary event will provide exclusive rewards like transmogrification effects, achievements, portraits, pets, and more.

The Darkening of Tristram, was initially held to celebrate ‘The 20th anniversary’ of the Diablo series, which sends players back to the dungeons of Diablo to score a few retro loot. The Darkening of Tristam is introduced in retro vision with pixelated filter to make Diablo 3 look more like a game from the 90s. If you are craving nostalgia, this homage to the earliest days of Diablo is for everyone.
