Final Fantasy XV Will Receive Four DLC

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata stated last year that three additional dlc were planned for the game in 2018. Through an interview with the Japanese media, Tabata announced that the plan has changed to four episodes and not all DLC is scheduled for a 2018 release.

Initially, their plan was launching the DLC on 2018, but looking at the main game’s player survey satisfaction rate of 62.4 percent, Tabata thought more development time was necessary to finish up Final Fantasy XV.

There is one thing I need to let everyone know, and that is perhaps it won’t all be out only this year. That’s right, the Royal Edition is not the complete version. There is more DLC coming!
Instead of fussing over during 2018, it’s necessary to ensure a reasonable development period. We’ve decided to make four episodes through 2019.

Final Fantasy XV is readily available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition for PC is expected to launch on March 6. All downloadable content is included for the base game, as well as a number of new features.
