HTC One S9 Officially Announced As HTC’s New Mid-Range Phone

Right on the heels of the successful HTC 10 launch, HTC has announced a new entry in their mid-range Android smartphone with the HTC One S9.

HTC One S9 Mid-Range

Carrying on the torch for the One series, the HTC One S9 design should be familiar to those who have used the previous models. Since it is a mid-range device, be prepared for a mid-range performance and specification.

The HTC One S9 will be packing a 2GHz Octa Core MediaTak Helio X10 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage (with a MicroSD slot, expandable up to 2TB), 13-megapixel rear camera, 4-megapixel front camera, 2,840mAh battery, and housed in a 5-inch FHD Super LCD display with a Gorilla Glass.

Despite its mid-range specs, the HTC One S9 is currently priced at €499 (or $560) which is surprisingly expensive for a mid-range phone. However, the pricing is meant for the European market and might differ depending on your region.

Is the HTC One S9 is a mid-range that’s befitting of the One series? Let us know in the comments!
