Mass Effect: Andromeda Offers New Trailer and Exclusive Pathfinder Helmet

EA’s new Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiative training update offers a closer look at the Tempest, the Normandy-like ship that you as the pathfinder will take you on your assignment, along with the off roader Nomad that is stored in the cargo hold.

The Tempest is a runner, not a fighter cruiser. It is not heavily armored, nor does it equipped with a primary gun. But it’s built with sophisticated stealth systems, as well as state of the art crew living quarters, research facilities, technology and bio labs, and even the Pathfinder’s cabin is designed with a terrific view, which is of course off limits to the other crews.

Down in the cargo gold, you’ll locate the Nomad, the upgraded version of the Mako that offers intrepid explorers the capability to cruise on alien worlds.

It also features interchangeable four-wheel or six-wheel drive, a back fuel-injection boost system to propel you forward and helium thrusters that allows you to boost-leap over obstacles. The Nomad’s paint job can be customized to accomodate the various surroundings.
