Megatron Returns To Transformers: The Last Knight

Optimus Prime will be facing his arch nemesis again in Transformers: The Last Knight as director Michael Bay revealed that Megatron will be returning for the franchise’s fifth installment.

The reveal came via an Instagram post and tweet with a brief video that shows off the villain looking battered and worn. The video also confirms that production will begin this week for Transformers: The Last Knight.

Megatron was last seen in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, where he was (seemingly) killed by Optimus Prime. As it is in the Transformers universe, the Decepticon leader doesn’t stay dead that long and looks to dish out revenge to the Autobots leader.

Transformers: The Last Knight is scheduled for release on June 23, 2017, and sees Mark Wahlberg returning as Cade Yeager from the last movie. Are you excited for the next Transformers movie? Let us know in the comments!
