While it might be targeted for kids, the internals packed in the smartwatch are surprisingly high-tech. A unique feature that the Mi Bunny will have is an embedded pre-paid SIM card that lets it make and receive voice calls. In addition to the GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth capability built in.

The built-in GPS lets you keep track of your child’s movement and also lets you create a “security zone”, a predefined area that will send you alerts if your child goes out of the zone.

What makes the Mi Bunny a great wearable for kids is that it comes equip with an SOS button that when pressed, sends out an alert and location to their parent’s smartphone while recording for seven seconds.

The Mi Bunny will release in late 2016 and will come in two colors (pink and blue) with the pricing of ¥299 ($46). It’s only available for order through Xiaomi’s China website with no word of an international release.
