New Gundam Breaker Gets A June Release Date

New Gundam Breaker is expected to launch sooner than anticipated, with the game coming to PC through Steam and PlayStation 4 on June 22. For the very first time, the Gundam Breaker series has emerged in the West and this also marks the Gundam series’ first appearance on Steam.

New Gundam Breaker focuses on constructing Gunpla models and utilizing them in battle. Players will have the ability to swap out a wide variety of different parts on the Gunpla, mixing and matching the model according to preferences. The game features a unique story, and surprisingly even contain a dating mechanic. There is quite a few unique heroines in the game which will play into the narrative, though Bandai Namco did not reveal anything related to the dating mechanics.

A large number of Gundam series will likely be represented in New Gundam Breaker, all the way from the first Gundam to the newest series Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. An overview of the game from Bandai Namco.

Fight against over 100 of your favorite mobile suits in team battles, collect their parts and use them to complement your fighting style or to reproduce the look of your choice Gundam. You can even switch out parts during combat to give you the upper-hand against your enemy. The combinations and possibilities for different builds are endless, so let your imagination run on overdrive and build the Gundam of your dreams.
