Overwatch Hits 25 Million Players, A New Milestone For Blizzard

Blizzard’s Overwatch has reached another milestone in span of three months – 25 million registered players. That is pretty impressive given that the team-based online shooter passes 20 million registered players back in October.

The company did not provide any information on the actual sales figures for the multiplayer first person shooter, but the numbers are a good indicator that the game has achieved a major development milestone.

To commemorate Chinese New Year, Overwatch is currently running its latest seasonal event on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with ‘Year of the Rooster‘ holiday-themed event.

Overwatch was previously awarded with ‘Game Of The Year’ at the the 2016 Game Awards. Get Overwatch Origins Edition for only $42.
