Patches And Free DLCs Coming To Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate seems to be shaping up nicely in preparation for their launch on October 23rd for consoles and November 19th for PC. Though fans of the stealth-adventure series might have to wait just a little bit before embarking on a new adventure with siblings Jacob and Evie Fyre.

It seems that, on the first day of launch, there will be two separate patches that players need to download before playing Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. The first patch (titled as 1.10) will be 541MB with the second patch (titled 1.11) will be 534MB although no details are given on what these patches are meant to patch.

It has become more commonplace for the current generation of games to have day one patches and realistically, Assassin’s Creed patches are on the better side compared to certain games (i.e. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5).

Of course, to balance out the patches, Ubisoft will be giving players free DLCs after the launch of the game. Players will be getting new costumes for both Jacob and Evie which will drop on November 17th and 3rd respectively. The outfits, which are steampunk inspired was described by Ubisoft as follows:

Evie’s “Dr Daniel’s Garments” OutfitAdd a little spark to your ensemble with Evie’s shocking steampunk-inspired outfit.

Jacob’s “The Creature’s Rags” Outfit - This patchwork getup is reminiscent of Dr. Frankenstein’s infamous Creature. Throw this on and unleash your inner monster.

Creative Director Marc-Alexis Cote talks about designing the outfits, “Our character design team had a lot of fun creating these more fantastical outfits, and we’re happy to share them with everyone completely free.” He continues, “we want to thank all of our fans for your passion and support and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on the game on October 23.”

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is set for release on October 23rd for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. PC gamers will get the game on November 19th. Pick up the pre-order for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate with OffGamers and enjoy 30% off!
