Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is a multiplayer third-person shooter and tower defense video game. It is the third installment in the Plants vs. Zombies series, developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts. The game was first announced for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but later it was reported that it will also be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The game features co-op along with competitive multiplayer modes, where players can control the zombies as well as plants.

Game Description

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare can be played from third-person perspective, which also includes competitive and co-operative environment for multiplayer. Gamers will face numerous challenges in order to progress in-game. These challenges are unique to each class and once the challenge is completed, players will advance to another level.

With the introduction of each class, the players are provided with weapon skins, new characters and costumes. Boss Mode can be activated to infuse more excitement to the game. There are 4 competitive modes and a co-operative mode in the game of Plants Vs Zombies- Garden Warfare. With the Garden Ops, four players could assist each other in saving the plants from destruction against waves of zombies. Number 5 and 10 waves are considered to be the killer wave.

There are dominant variants like Gardens and Graveyard mode, players are captured or defended depending on the objectives. Bombs are collected through the Gnome game mode to destroy opponents in various layers of the game. Classical and mixed vanquish mode can be found in the game as well. If the player chooses mixed mode, then it will be possible to swap characters from opposition team.

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare has won the heart of gamers due to its vibrant colors and interactive interface. Features of 3D have been incorporated to the game in order to bring an appealing look. The maps are well-designed, character classes are well-balanced and there’s a large amount of customization.The added characteristics for the zombies brings elements of laughter to the game. Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare also can be installed within seconds.

Cons

Microtransactions will be introduced at a later date and game currency can be acquired to unlock sub classes and items. Needs more maps and game modes for the multiplayer option.

The game has received positive reviews from critics and really a fun and entertaining game. PopCaps has produced a well balanced game with considerable amount of customization. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare respects its roots by preserving its characters and their humor and skillfully adapting their charm to a third-person shooter. A few clever twists on the standard modes give the action some fresh personality, and the co-op survival mode is a fun homage to the original games. Plus the solid controls, fun modes, and varied map design make it a good shooter to boot.
