Puyo Puyo Tetris From Sega Heading For PC

Sega’s Puyo Puyo Tetris PC port will be out later this month. The competitive puzzle game is currently priced at $17.99 with a 10% discount and is expected to be officially available on Steam this February 27, 2018.

The multiplayer mode can support up to four players online in Puzzle League or Free Play modes. It is possible to play either pure Puyo Puyo or pure Tetris, however, the game becomes particularly challenging when Sega starts mixing the two together. In one mode, Tetris and Puyo Puyo pieces fill up the exact same play space. In another, you change between playing Tetris and Puyo Puyo in fixed intervals.

Players can also unlock new characters and backgrounds in Adventure mode, or unlock new character voices, skins for Puyos and Tetriminos, backgrounds and more in the in-game shop.

This fun-to-play, fast-paced, competitive party game is a combination of two puzzle game juggernauts collide as Tetris, one of the largest-selling and recognized brands in gaming history, and Puyo Puyo from SEGA.
