Season 2 of ‘Attack on Titan’ Anime Has Been Delayed

It seems that fans of the dark-fantasy, post-apocalyptic anime, Attack on Titan, will have to wait a little bit longer as the studios behind the anime have announced its delay.

Attack On Titan Anime Delay

While certainly not the news fans had hoped for, it is unsurprising for Wit Studio to push back the release of Attack on Titan season 2, due to the fact that the studio is currently working on another anime.

Fans speculated that the main reason for the delay was due to lack of material from the manga to adapt into the anime, however, the manga already has two arcs – “Clash of the Titans” and “Uprising” – available that can easily translate into a 25-episode season. As it seems, it is more likely that Wit Studios just have their hands full at the moment.

If you’re bummed over the fact that you won’t be getting a fix of Attack on Titan anytime soon, you can check Wit Studio’s other anime, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, that recently debuted on April 8th and shares a similar post-apocalyptic setting with Attack on Titan.

Hopefully, we’ll get news soon of when Attack on Titan will return.
