Sony Reveals New God Of War And Adapts Norse Mythology

We’ve finally gotten our first look at the new God of War game and it starts a very bearded Kratos and what could be Kratos Jr. As reported before, the latest God of War is inspired by Norse mythology, instead of the Greek mythology that it was originally based on.

The gameplay demo sees Kratos teaching the young boy how to hunt but encounters a few enemies along the way, which he took care with the all new ax weapon, a departure from the dual blades used in previous God of War games.

Of course, the biggest change for God of War is the third-person perspective gameplay instead of a fixed camera angle. This makes the action in God of War looks more intense as the camera focuses Kratos as he dishes out damage.

God of War will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4.
