State of Decay 2 Releases On May 22 for PC and Xbox One

Microsoft Studios and Undead Lab’s State of Decay 2 finally has a launch date and the zombie survival game offers players the ability to build a base, develop their characters, and manage resources to survive. It features an RPG progression system, and has player decisions that have lasting consequences.

The standard edition of the game will cost $30, and the ultimate edition will set players back at $50. However, the ultimate edition allows players to access the game on May 18th, four days ahead of the official release. Two add-on packs will be given as well, such as the ‘Independence’ and ‘Daybreak’ packs, along with a bonus copy of the console version of State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition.

State of Decay 2 and State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition are available for preorder now and players will receive exclusive in-game goodies if the preorder is placed before May 21. State of Decay 2 will launch on May 22, for Xbox One and Windows PC.
