Street Fighter 5 Adds New Character Menat

Menat will be the latest DLC for Street Fighter 5, after Capcom unveiled the character on their Unity blog.

Menat is an Egyptian fighter who’s ability is to manipulate magical spheres and her attacks are projectiles of orbs. She was previously announced at the Hong Kong eSports Festival 2017 as part of the Capcom Pro Tour event. She has a striking resemblance to Rose, who formerly appeared in the Alpha series. Her V-Trigger ability enables her to summon six spheres and each one is connected to her regular strikes.

At launch, this DLC will cost $6 and season pass owners will get her for free. In addition, she will have alternate story and battle costumes. Menat, also known as the “Eyes of the Future” will arrive as DLC for Street Fighter V on August 29th 2017.
