The Details on Bloodborne’s The Old Hunter Expansion

The blood beckons you, Hunter, with Bloodborne‘s latest expansion, The Old Hunters. Return to Yharnam and face the nightmares again with The Old Hunters where new locations and new monsters will definitely give players a challenge in surviving. But that’s not all, a recent post from the Playstation Blog, a patch is coming to gamers, giving new content whether you purchase the expansion or not.

Bloodborne The League

The Old Hunters expansion is set to come on November 24th, which means that the update patch should drop between now and the expansion’s release. Now, what comes with the update patch is pretty meaty by itself and should satisfy fans of the game, who are not purchasing the game’s expansion.

One new feature that should excite fans is The League, a new faction in the game. Here’s a breakdown of The League from producer Masaaki Yamagiwa:

“The League is a band of Hunters who have taken an oath and are bound by a single purpose. By aligning yourself to The League, led by a mysterious figure in a constable’s garb and bucket helmet, you can assist other players online in the game and compete in The League’s online rankings leaderboard.

In addition to The League, players will also be able to use The League cane and summon co-op NPCs within the game, perfect for tackling challenging areas and bosses.”

Aside from the inclusion of The League, new co-op NPCs will be coming to help players in the game. Of course, to tease the release of The Old Hunters expansion, Yamagiwa shared some screenshots of the expansion and one of them gave us a sneak peak at a new weapon called The Holy Moonlight Sword, which looks awesome to wield.
