The Killing Joke Trailer Portrays A Very Haunting Joker Against Batman

DC is finally making a full-fledged animated movie of The Killing Joke. The most haunting take on the Clown Prince of Crime by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland.

The adaptation was first revealed with a teaser trailer that sees the return of Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy as The Joker and Batman respectively.

The Killing Joke is one of Batman’s most graphic stories and definitely earns its “R” rating which includes “some bloody images and disturbing content”.

Despite it graphic nature, The Killing Joke is often regarded by DC readers as one of the seminal stories that encompass the storied relationship between Joker and Batman.

With the upcoming Suicide Squad set to portray a new Joker on August 5, The Killing Joke is a great appetizer for DC fans to rekindle their love for the Clown Prince of Crime and re-introduce him to new ones.

The Killing Joke will release on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD in Summer 2016 with a premiere at San Diego Comic-Con.
