There Will Be Single-Player Campaigns In For Honor

When For Honor debuted in E3 back in 2015, fans were excited for the medieval combat hack and slash from Ubisoft with its brutal combat and unique multiplayer gameplay. Some fans, however, were hesitant to jump on board the hype train, thinking that For Honor will be a multiplayer only game.

Turns out that’s not the case as Ubisoft has officially revealed that there will be a single-player campaign in For Honor

In a Ubisoft developers video, Producer Stephane Cardin mentioned the issue about For Honor‘s single player content. “One of the big questions we receive is about a solo campaign,” Cardin said. “We said that we will have a single[-player] campaign, and I can promise you that we will have a solo campaign.”

While Ubisoft is not willing to show any of the gameplay or discuss the campaign, they assured that progress is being made on the game. “It’s one of the key subjects that we’re looking on the floor,” Cardin states. ” I can’t wait to show stuff to you guys and we’ll do it as early as possible like we do with the multiplayer.”

For Honor Ubisoft

When For Honor was first shown, many assumed that the game will be a multiplayer-centric game, as that was the showcase for it on E3. Despite it’s compelling take on old-school combat with modernized combat mechanics, gamers weren’t sure if multiplayer only would be enough for the game. Now, they won’t have to worry about finding another player to play with, as a single player campaign will definitely keep them occupied.

For Honor is set for release sometime later this year and will come to PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
