Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six: Siege Surpass 30 Million Players

Rainbow Six Siege has reached a new milestone with 30 million registered players across all platforms.

Since its launch, player numbers for Rainbow Six Siege have steadily increased. In August Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six Siege had 20 million registered players. By December 2017, the game had 25 million players, and as of today, the figure sits at over 30 million.

Over the last three years we have endeavored to create a solid community built on transparency as we grow and evolve the ever-expanding world of Rainbow Six Siege. We are so tremendously honored to achieve this milestone, and we will continue to do everything we can to earn each and every new person that decides to play.

Ubisoft released a video to celebrate the milestone. Currently coming up on Year 3, Rainbow Six Siege players also have seen regular content updates with the release of Operation Chimera, two new operators, and game balancing updates. This year also saw a record of 320,000 concurrent viewers for their 2018 Six Invitational with more than 6.2M hours watched across on all of their official channels.

The Outbreak event was a huge success for Ubisoft and that helps the concurrent player count triple over a six month period on Steam. Additional game updates have also been applied, and there are even more to come.
