Ultra Street Fighter II Announced for Switch, More Surprises to Come From Capcom

Capcom announced Ultra Street Fighter II: The The Final Challengers last week at Nintendo Switch event, apparently the new Street Fighter is an enhanced edition of the original Street Fighter II. Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono mentions that the new fighting game will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.

“If this title sells extremely well we’ll consider it,” Ono said. “We put a lot of thought into how this can be fully enjoyed on the Nintendo Switch, so for the time being it’s only going to be on Switch.”

Capcom is celebrating their 30th anniversary for the acclaimed fighting game and Ono said that the company has a huge surprise reveal this year at E3 or Comic-con.

“Around E3 timing, maybe even San Diego Comic-Con, we have one or two surprises we hope our fans will look forward to.” “I’ll let you know that the surprises this year are not going to be Rival Schools.”

E3 is set to start on June 13th, and Comic-con at San Diego is expected to begin on July 20th.
