World of Warcraft Pre-Expansion Patch Releasing This Week

Battle for Azeroth is the next expansion for World of Warcraft and it is set to launch in August.

Before its release, Blizzard will rollout a pre-expansion patch on July 17 that sets the platform for its upcoming update and introduces quite a few new features for the MMORPG. Players can look forward to the brand new War Mode system which enables players to activate or disable PvP encounters. In addition to War Mode, the pre-expansion patch reworks the PvP talent system. Previously, players could unlock talents as they participate in PvP and increase their Honor level. After the update, players will earn talents as they level up, placing everyone on more equal footing.
