Xbox One X Is Finally Able To Run The Witcher 3 At 60 FPS

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game has received improvements for the Xbox One X. The developer from CD Projekt Red has set up a new update for its critically acclaimed game, including 4K support along with other visual and performance enhancements catered for Microsoft’s new console.

The update is available to download for everyone who already possesses a copy of Witcher 3. As CD Projekt Red formerly detailed, the game now contains two visual fidelity choices: 4K Mode and Performance Mode. The game operates at 4K resolution, or even supersampled for those with no 4K screen at 30 FPS. In Performance Mode, features such as the dynamic resolution scaling is from 1080p up to 4K and reaching 60 FPS.

Both 4K and Performance Modes additionally support HDR. To change between the two, enter the Options menu and then select Display. Navigate into the Advanced settings section and you will be able to toggle between both 4K and Performance Modes.
