You Just Need to Pay A Subscription Fee To Start Playing WoW

Blizzard has annnounced that starting today, new and old players, can just sign up for a subscription and play all the way until Legion, World of Warcraft’s sixth expansion.

The game’s monthly subscription cost $14.99 and subscribers will have access to all of World of Warcraft’s available content aside from the latest Battle for Azeroth expansion which launches in August. Before this patch, players are required to purchase the base game, buy all the expansions separately, and also pay for the monthly fee. As long as players maintain an active subscription, they can play World of Warcraft through level 110 without paying for anything extra.

Should You Buy World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth?

However, players will still need to fork out a one-time fee of $49.99 in order to play Battle for Azeroth. Additionally, all existing World of Warcraft subscribers have been upgraded to Legion at no extra cost.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is set to launch on August 14, 2018.
