Shadow Keep

As soon as you enter your last stage, you see a cutscene with Rik. What's he doing here? You'll be attacked by a swarm of Gargoyles as soon as the cutscene is over. You might want to experiment with the different gems against the Gargoyles. Once disposed, save and rotate your map so that the warp point is on the south side. Hug the west wall until you reach a T-room. Go east and then north. Many of these rooms will be filled with Gargoyles, Drows, and Clockwork Soldiers. The Drows can render themselves invisible as well as other enemies, which can be quite annoying. Clockword Soldiers are vulnerable to icy attacks, but not firey ones.

After the room you went up north from, head west and north again. Hug the right wall and go up. You'll pass a Fountain of Health to recharge your HP if you're low. Keep hugging the wall until you see a Drow. Kill her and then go up north in the room to toggle a switch. You can continue on east if you want, but there's nothing left. Head back west to the side directly opposite from the Fountain of Health.

You'll see a Fountain of Mystic Will instead. This path is longer than the other one so be prepared. You'll see another room similar to the first lever you pulled. Toggle it and before you head back, continue on upward. You'll retrieve a Soul Shard at the very top. Backtrack now to the room before the locked gate room. The two switches you pulled activated bridges for you to pull more switches that actually unlock the door this time. When approaching them, becareful of the flames that shoot out from the walls. Recharge your mystic will and hit points before venturing on.

Shadow Keep: East Grand Hall

This area is not as confusing as the previous one. You'll continue to deal with the Gargoyles, but the Drows and Clockwork Soldiers will be replaced with the Yuan-ti. These snakey bastards can still do some damage to your hero. From the start, head up north while facing the Yuan-ti. When you reach the room with a pool that shoots out Mystical Will draning energy blasts, head east into another big room. This big room has a Yuan-ti King which shouldn't be difficult at all to take down. What you want is to go up north and to the center to pick up your last Soul Shard. The exit is to the east of the big room.

Shadow Keep: West Grand Hall

You'll still be burdened with Gargoyles but also face new monsters. The Mind Flayers, and Rage Golems. Of course nothing can surivive if you keep hacking and slashing at everything you see, so by all means, do so. Your general goal of this area is to head east. However, there'll be a room with water that you cannot cross. To make things more annoying, a Mind Flayer is taunting you with its spells. Go south until you reach another pool room that spits out Mystical Will draining energy blasts. From here, go east until the end.

When you reach the room that enables you to go west, it leads back to the Mind Flayer you saw earlier. At the very end, you'll face a big, big spider, aka the Bebilith. Think of it has a spider that just took steroids. Hack it until it spews blood and collapses.

Shadow Keep: Shadow Spire I

These spire areas all have one path, but you have to fight Kaeden everytime. Don't worry, it's not too difficult. From your start, head up north. You will again be burdened with those damn Gargoyles backed-up by Skeletons. When it's time for you to head east, be prepared to fight Kaeden for the first time.

Boss: Kaeden's First Fight

Kaeden attacks you this time only with his sword. Just run up to him and hack him up until you knock about a quarter of his life away. He'll teleport away and leave you to catch him.

Shadow Keep: Shadow Spire II

Save and head west. Go up north killing anything and everything that gets in your path. When you head east, ignore the first route that leads north--it leads to Kaeden again. You wanna rob his gold first before killing him again, which is the path on the right.

Boss: Kaeden's Second Fight

Yeah, pretty much the same thing as the first fight. Yes he recovered his health, but you can easily knock it down again.

Shadow Keep: Shadow Spire III

This is the last part of the game. Go straight past the hallway while killing the last of Kaeden's forces. Before crossing the bridge to meet destiny, clear out this area. The fountains will be waiting for you.

Boss: Kaeden

Kaeden's gonna be using his sword again. No, just kidding. He'll add many attacks to it. Since Kaeden created the gems, he'll be using them. If he the following gem:

Nature: He can poison you and is surrounded by an insect plague.
Fire: Allows him to burn and can set off an inferno ring attack at you.
Ice: Allows him to throw bolts of cold and hit you repeatedly.
Wind: Throws you back across the room if hit.
Death: Allows him the ability to send bats at you that suck your health away and replenishes his.
In order to defeat Kaeden, you have to deplenish his health meter six times--one for each gem and for Kaeden himself. Something to note is that every time he switches a gem, the damage dealt to that gem is retained. Don't worry about him regenerating his HP. When Kaeden is using a gem that you're using, switch. It's not going to harm him, but it will harm you. As you keep pounding away at Kaeden, he's not that difficult. You might even think some of the earlier bosses were tougher than him. Well, enjoy the endin
