| | | | GAME FEATURES Hello Kitty Online is the official massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) of
Hello Kitty and many other widely popular characters created by Sanrio. The game has strong
social communication functions and is currently the only MMORPG that integrates social
networking services into game play. Players explore the cutest virtual world and meet their
favourite Sanrio characters while going on adventures, making new friends, and developing
their characters. | Avatar
A player starts by creating a unique avatar in Hello Kitty Online in order to familiarize himself
with the environment. The adventure begins in the newbie village Sanrio Harbour, where
players are gradually introduced to game mechanics and plot. In order to advance the main plot
players will need to complete different adventures and missions, and find the magic keys which
will be used to save the Sanrio characters in peril. | | Battle System
The game features no direct realistic violence (like death or blood) but there is a battle system in
place that utilizes very mild cartoon violence. Players repel aggressive monsters by teaching
them a lesson they won’t soon forget: this is achieved by making them dizzy, stunning them, or
putting them to sleep with a whack on the head. Monsters will occasionally drop items such as
pet cards or other goods. Group with your friends and battle monsters in the wilderness as you
travel to a far-off city! | | Community System
In–game email, view blogs, view videos, play mini-games, invite players to your farm and
house. | | Pet System
A pet can enhance the pet owner's stats. Take care of your pet – pets assist you in carrying
your items and help you to achieve your objective more effectively. Pets are obtained by finding
Pet Cards, which are found on defeated Monsters, but they are rare and valuable drops. | | Home and Farm System
Create and decorate your dream house, where you can invite friends and share unforgettable
memories together. Earn in-game cash by farming your fields and harvesting your crops. You
can use materials produced on your farm to craft items, or you can sell the raw materials to
merchants or other players. | | Guild System
HKO boasts a guild system where players can form a community, help each other, or just sit
back and chat. Each guild must choose one of eight different guild guardians. The guardians are
Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Purin, Badtz-Maru, My Melody, Pochacco, Cinnamoroll, and Little Twin
Stars. | | Crafting System
Players will develop 4 types of Resource collecting skills: Woodcutting, Planting, Gathering, and
Mining. As players collect resources their corresponding skills will gradually advance. Higher-
level resources require higher levels of the appropriate resource collection skill. Resources are
needed to build a house. If a player's collecting skill level is too low, he will be unable to gather
the sufficient materials. In addition to Resource Collection skills, players have four crafting skills
to make a broad range of items that are useful in the game, including food and drink, clothing,
furniture, tools, and much more. | | Magic Crystal System
Allows players to create crystals from tears acquired from NPCs. This is purely story related and
is used to advance the main plot of Hello Kitty Online. | | Key system
Displays a collection of keys acquired by the player as he/she goes through the game. This is
