Rohan Online Leveling Guide | | Taken from www.playrohan.com
Leveling Up
When you start the game, your character will be level 1. In order to make your character stronger and learn more abilities, you will have to level up your character. This is done by acquiring experience points (EXP). Each level requires a certain number of EXP obtained to reach the next level. Experience points can be obtained by killing monsters within your level range and completing quests. Quests can be obtained by talking to NPCs with a yellow book above its head. Right click on the NPC and see a list of quests it offers.
Monsters provide experience for your character every time you kill one that is within your level range. You will see a percentage number on your character interface at the top right corner of the screen, this shows you how close you are to leveling up (100% is the next level). This is also reflected by coloring in the circle around your character's picture the same section of your interface. Once you level up, your health and mana increase and your character also gains skill points and ability points. Ability points are used to increase your stats (Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Psyche, Vitality, Dexterity) which makes your character stronger. These points can be allocated in your character interface on the bottom action bar. Skill points will allow your character to learn new abilities. By opening the skill interface window (from the bottom action bar) you can see a list of the skills available to learn and allocate points for new abilities you can use.
Armor
The game is full of dangerous beings and one must find a way to protect themselves. Whether it is treasure left behind from a monster or an item purchased from a merchant it is a good idea to make sure your armor is comparable to your level. To equip armor you must make sure you meet its requirements. This can vary by level or even stats like Agility and Intelligence. If you find yourself missing these requirements by just a few points, simply visit an item refiner to assist you. Once you have met each of the requirements, simply drag your armor into its proper slot on your character screen or simply double click on the armor in your inventory.
Treasure Box
There are many treasure chests throughout the world which contain items that may be useful to your character. In order to open these chests a key is required which matches the specific chest. For example, if your character comes across a Bronze Chest a Bronze Key will be required to gain access to that chest. Keys drop from monsters throughout the world and generally drop depending for chests which are near the area of the monsters you are hunting.
Trading with others
You can request to trade with another player by right clicking their character while you are close to them, then select "Trade" in the drop down menu. Once the trade window is open you can drag items into a slot to be traded. You can also trade crones to another player in this menu by dragging the crone icon at the bottom of your inventory screen, selecting the appropriate amount you would like to trade, and press "confirm". |
