Sometimes, an email message from a legitimate sender is incorrectly judged as spam and goes to your junk folder. You can take action to 'teach' your email program that emails from that sender are acceptable and should be sent to your Inbox.
Add our emails/domain to your whitelist or list of 'safe senders'

In order to ensure that our newsletter or emails are not caught in the spam, bulk or junk mail filters, we have provided some instructions to show you how to whitelist emails from OffGamers for some of the more popular email/filter providers. Please use these instructions as a guide and be aware that they may differ slightly for the various versions of each email program.
If your email/filter provider isn't listed here, please contact your ISP's technical support for their instructions.

America Online (AOL)
If you're using AOL for email, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
AOL version 9.0:
Step 1. Open our latest e-mail.
Step 2. Click the 'Add Address' button (over on the right) to add our email to your 'People I Know' list.
-OR-
Send us an email to automatically add us into your 'People I Know' list.
Step 1. Click the "'Compose' button.
Step 2. A new email window opens, fill in the 'Send To' box with 'newsletter@offgamers.com'.
Step 3. 'Click Send Now' (top right corner).
Our address will be automatically added into your 'People I Know' List even if the email fails to be sent out.
AOL Version 8.0:
Step 1. Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
Step 2. Select the screen name we're sending our email to.
Step 3. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name.
Step 4. Select 'Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains'.
Step 5. Click Next until the Save button shows up at the bottom.
Step 6. Click Save.
AOL version 7.0:
Step 1. Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
Step 2. Select the screen name we're sending our email to.
Step 3. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name.
Step 4. In 'exclusion and inclusion parameters', include the domain 'offgamers.com'.

CleanMyMailbox
If you are using CleanMyMailbox to filter your incoming e-mail, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
Step 1. Click on the 'White List' button.
Step 2. Add: newsletter@offgamers.com' to the bottom of your existing list.
Step 3. Click the 'Submit List' button.

Step 1. Click the 'Subject White List' button.
Step 2. Add: 'OffGamers' to the bottom of the list on a line by itself.
Step 3. Click the 'Submit List' button.
If one of our emails are in your 'Spam' folder, you can prevent this from happening again by:
Step 1. Click on the white 'W' icon of the left column.
Step 2. When the pop up appears, click 'Add to Whitelist'.

Cloudmark SpamNet
If you're using Cloudmark's SpamNet to filter your incoming e-mail, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
Step 1. Open your Outlook Inbox.
Step 2. On the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar, click 'Options'.
Step 3. Click 'Advanced'.
Step 4. Select the 'Whitelist' tab.
Step 5. Click the 'Add' button.
Step 6. Enter the address 'newsletter@offgamers.com' and click the 'OK' button.
Step 7. Click 'OK' again, then 'Yes', then 'OK' one last time.

If you're using Earthlink for e-mail, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
Step 1. Click on 'Address Book' (Left column, below the folders).
Step 2. When your Address Book opens, click the 'Add' button.
Step 3. On the Add Contact screen, find the 'Internet Information' box.
Step 4. Enter 'newsletter@offgamers.com' address into the top Email box.
Step 5. Click 'Save'.

If you're using Google's gmail for e-mail, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
Step 1. Open our latest email/newsletter.
Step 2. Click on the 'down arrow' which is just beside the date and 'Reply'.
Step 3. Select 'Add to Contact List'.

Step 1. Just send us an email at newsletter@offgamers.com or support@offgamers.com.
Step 2. This will automatically add the email into your contact list (regardless if the email was successfully sent out or not).
If one of our emails are in your 'Spam' folder, you can prevent this from happening again by:
Step 1. Click on the Spam link to open your Spam folder.
Step 2. Click on the wrongly filtered e-mail to open it.
Step 3. Click the Not Spam button at the top of the e-mail (right next to 'Delete Forever').

Hotmail / MSN
If you're using Hotmail / MSN for e-mail, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
Step 1. At the top right, click 'Options' (for Hotmail Classic) or select 'More Options' (for Hotmail Full Version) after clicking the 'Options' tab.
Step 2. Under 'Customize your mail', select 'Automatically sort e-mail into folders'.
Step 3. Click on 'New Filter'.
Step 4. For 'Step 1: Which messages are you looking for?', Select 'From address', 'contains' and enter 'newsletter@offgamers.com' into the textbox.
Step 5. FOr 'Step 2: Where do you want to put these messages?', select 'Inbox'.
Step 6. Click 'Save'.
If one of our emails are in your 'Junk' folder, you can prevent this from happening again by:
Step 1. Click on the Junk link to open your Junk folder.
Step 2. Click on the wrongly filtered e-mail to open it.
Step 3. Click the Not Junk button at the top of the e-mail (right next to 'Delete').

If you're using Mailblocks to filter your incoming e-mail, here's how to ensure you always get our email in your inbox:
Step 1. In Mailblocks, click the 'Addresses' tab.
Step 2. Select 'New'.
Step 3. Enter the address 'newsletter@offgamers.com'.
Step 4. In the 'Receiving' Options, select 'Accept Mail From This Address'.
Step 5. In the 'Other' Options, make sure Display in People Picker is not selected.
Step 6. Click 'Submit'.
Step 7. Click 'OK'.

Step 2. add the sender or the sender's domain (newsletter@offgamers.com & support@offgamers.com) to your Safe List.

Step 2. Add it to 'Personal Contacts' in your Outlook Address Book.
If one of our emails are mark as 'Junk', you can prevent this from happening again by:
Step 1. Open any of our email or newsletter.
Step 2. Select 'Mark as Not Junk'.

Step 1. Find any of our e-mail that's in your 'Probably Spam' folder.

Step 1. Open your SBC Global mailbox.
Step 2. Click 'Mail Options'.
Step 3. Click 'Filters'.
Step 4. Click 'Add Filter'.
Step 5. In the top row, From header:' select 'Contains'.
Step 6. Enter this email address into the textbox at the side: 'newsletter@offgamers.com'.
Step 7. At the bottom, Move the message to: select 'Inbox'.
Step 8. Click the 'Add Filter' button again.
If one of our emails are in your 'Bulk' folder, you can prevent this from happening again by:
Step 1. Click on the 'Bulk' link to open your bulk folder.
Step 2. Click on the wrongly filtered e-mail to open it.
Step 3. Click the 'This is not spam' button (right next to the 'From' field).

Step 1. Search your hard drive for the spamassassin folder, then open it.
Step 2. In that folder should be a file named user_prefs. Open it with a text editor (Notepad, for example). If there is no such file, you can create it. Detailed instructions can be found

Step 3. Make a new (blank) line in the file. On that line, enter 'whitelist_from newsletter@offgamers.com'.
