6 Easy Steps to using iOS Apps on your Android Device

Not all people have the capacity or financial capability to purchase both an IOS iPhone and an Android smartphone. This would be a problem for those who want to access exclusive apps on both platforms. Luckily there is a simple solution for us. When it comes to accessing IOS exclusive apps, running an IOS emulator on an Android smartphone is a much more viable option for me.

Of course there are some restrictions that come into play when using apps specifically designed for IOS on an Android, but it is a relatively smooth experience as long as you’re accepting. One point to be noted here is that most of the emulators require a large amount of RAM, so anything above 512 MB is going to be needed. Thankfully, most Android smartphones these days come with one gigabyte plus RAM, even the budget ones reach that with ease.

There are several different iOS emulators out there, here is one that we can recommend.

iEMU is the most popular iOS emulator for Android. This emulator is able to provide you a virtual iOS environment on your Android device allowing you to install IOS apps and games with ease. The best thing about iEMU is that the emulator does not require a lot of storage space to install and surprisingly won’t require much resources to run regular apps. Do note that running games will be a stressful for your phone, and some games aren’t fully supported yet.

The thing about this emulator is that it is open source and is being actively developed by many talented developers. Sure, there are many bugs to be found in the emulation but that is to be expected. Overall it’s a great piece of software that you can easily install and run on any Android device. There are 6 easy steps to guide you through the whole process:

Step 1:
Download the APK file from this link.

Step 2:
Once the download is complete, tap on the notification or use your favorite file Explorer to navigate where it’s downloaded.

Step 3:
Tap on the APK file. You’ll receive a notification saying “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.”.

Step 4:
Go to System Settings > Security, and finding the option that says “Allow the Device to Install Applications from Unknown Sources”

Step 5:
Now the APK will take a few seconds to install iEMU on your Android device.
After it’s installed, go to your app drawer and find an app named Padiod. This is the emulator.

Step 6:
Now all you have to do is to simply launch the app and you can start using IOS apps on your Android.

Note: IOS emulators on Android are not official pieces of software licensed on the Google play store. You’ll have to go through third-party links to download them. This means that the files are not verified by a trusted third party. As such, there is an inherent risk of mistakenly downloading viruses or malware posted by people with malicious intent. You also have to sideload the APK files on your smartphone, which is also a big risk. With that in mind, please be mindful of the apps you download outside of the Google play store.
