A Fake ‘Monthiversary’ Ad By Ryan Reynolds Celebrates Deadpool Success

It’s the one month anniversary of Deadpool!! Well, not really, but in celebration of Deadpool’s amazing box office success, Reynolds posted this fake ‘monthiversary’ clip for the R-rated movie on his twitter account.

And of course, it’s pitch perfect parody by Reynolds and the Merc with a Mouth.

The clip, which is a parody of ads for Academy Award nominees, even referenced Ryan Reynolds as six-time Academy Award viewer,  based on the tweet he posted a while back.

Deadpool is one of the highest grossing R-rated superhero movies, grossing nearly $700M, beating out Marvel’s own Iron Man. A sequel is already in the works with (spoilers!) the future mutant, Cable, expected to be in the movie.
