Deep Silver Are Teasing A Major Announcement For E3 2016
Despite the fact that a number of major publishers are choosing to host their own event over a presence in E3, Deep Silver will instead be present on the show floors and are bringing big announcements for 2016’s biggest gaming event.
In an interview with MCV, CEO and founder Klemens Kundratitz noted that a bigger presence for Deep Silver will be made and teased a major announcement for this year’s E3.
“We have a lot of games in the pipeline and are very much looking forward to E3, where we are not going to be absent and where we will make our next major announcement.”
Currently, Deep Silver has a number of IPs in their library that has not been given updates yet. Franchises such as Saints Row and Metro have been laying dormant for awhile and news from either of the two franchise could signify as big announcements.
Deep Silver could also take the stage to provide updates on titles that are currently under works, such as Homefront: The Revolution, a new Dead Island title, and even the much-delayed Mighty No. 9.
Given the humble beginnings that Deep Silver had when they self-published the Dead Island franchise, E3 2016 could mark the year where Deep Silver becomes a major game publisher with its ever-growing roster of games.
