Let The Canine Battle Begin With Dog Vs Robot Dog

A while back, we featured Boston Dynamics and their amazing humanoid robot (but-not-so-amazing treatment of them). Now, Boston Dynamic is back with another video that pits Spot, the robotic Dog, against Cosmo, Android co-founder Andy Rubin’s dog.

The showdown might not have been as epic as we would have wanted it to be, but it goes to show how much progress Boston Dynamics have made in the technology of robotics that it manages to convince a real dog.

As for the day when we can own a robot dog pet companion, it probably won’t be anytime soon from the looks of it.
