Microsoft Resolve Licensing Issue And Alan Wake Is Back On Steam

Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake is back on Steam after resolving the game’s music licensing issue.

Alan Wake was pulled off the shelves back in May 2017 due to expiration of music licences. The developer posted on Twitter that the studio is able to market Alan Wake again with the assistance from Microsoft.

Big thanks to our partner and Alan Wake’s publishers @Microsoft who were able to renegotiate the rights to the licensed music in Alan Wake, so that the game can be sold again.

With the body of an action game and the mind of a psychological thriller, Alan Wake is a pulse-pounding thrill ride.
