New Game Plus Is Now Available For The Witcher 3

For many gamers, The Witcher 3 is such a humongous game, some are probably nowhere near finishing the game. But, there are some very dedicated fans that have managed to finish the game and wouldn’t mind doing it all over again. Well, for those hardcore gamers, CD Projekt Red have finally released the New Game Plus mode for The Witcher 3 so you can visit The Continent all over again.

The Witcher 3 New Game Plus

Announced a few weeks back, New Game Plus mode is the last piece of Free DLC that CD Projekt Red had promised to deliver to fans. A brief description from their Steam page regarding the New Game Plus DLC is definitely tantasling players to re-visit Witcher 3, “Hungry for more action? Start a new game with all the skills and items from your previous playthroughs, get better loot, slay even more ferocious beasts and relive the epic fantasy adventure that is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!”

Few things to note, if you are level 30 or higher, your level will remain the same when you begin the New Game Plus. Those who are below level 30 will be automatically bumped up to level 30 instead. A Clearing Potion will be given to players at the beginning of the game so that you can reset your skills and re-do it all if necessary.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

In terms of inventory, quest items, books and letters, Gwent cards, usable items, and trophies will not carry over. Instead, what will carry over are experience, items, money, and alchemy recipes when you begin the New Game Plus. Another interesting point to note by Marcin Momot, the community lead and website coordinator for CD Projekt Red, is that players will be able to set the difficulty for New Game Plus. This will be helpful for those that want to obtain the Death March achievement/trophy.

The Witcher 3 New Game Plus DLC is currently available on Xbox One and PC and is a free download that weighs in at 9.51MB. It will come to Playstation 4 soon after.
