Nintendo Is Increasing Production Of Its Switch For 2018

Nintendo has plans to increase its Switch production much more next year. The company intends to make 25 to 30 million Nintendo Switch consoles beginning in April, however, the estimated amount might be even higher depending on the upcoming holiday sales.

A big part of the Switch’s success has to do with the games available for it like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nintendo said at the end of October that it was looking to double its production and create at least 17 million units in its first year, but it looks like Nintendo currently has even greater hopes for its hit console.

The Switch had sold 7.63 million units between March and September, and also at the purchase price of $300 a piece, it has been tremendously profitable for Nintendo.
