No Man’s Sky NEXT Update Adds Multiplayer Mode And More

No Man’s Sky, the controversial action-survival game from Hello Games is getting the NEXT upgrade on July 24.

The new trailer shows the developer has updated the textures, added a brand new third-person view, and even character customization it seems. Base-building is also going to be infinite, which means players can build as many bases as they want.

Two years ago, players complained that the game was boring or was lacking features they had seen in the early trailers. As a result, No Man’s Sky’s Steam review took a big hit with mostly negative reviews. Since then, No Man’s Sky has been patched several times and this NEXT patch seems to provide a new life to it with a significant overhaul that the game desperately needed.
