Path Of Exile Coming To China Thanks To Tencent

Looks like Grinding Gear Games will getting a piece of the China gaming market as they have partnered up with Tencent to bring the MMOARPG, Path of Exile, to Chinese gamers.

The news of their partnership came during the Tencent Interactive Entertainment 2016 Annual Press Conference in Beijing. Seeing how Tencent is the leading internet provider in Mainland China, Path of Exile will benefit from the company’s wide reach for one of the largest gaming markets.

Path of Exile will be playable in simplified Chinese and servers will be based in China. International players will not connect Chinese players as the servers will operate separately. No official date on when Path of Exile will officially launch but an Alpha test is scheduled to run in May 2016.

For more information, head over to Tencent’s Path of Exile site.
