Play SNES Games On Your Smartphone The Way God Intended

Playing SNES games (or games in general) on smartphones can be a bit cumbersome with touchscreen control and is no way to enjoy classic SNES titles such as Super Mario World or Street Fighter II.

If you want to play these games as intended, which is with a controller, then you’re in luck because The Daily Dot unveiled this awesomely retro gamepad called the 8bitdo Tech SNES30 for all you retro gamers out there.

Just check out the trailer below:

The 8bitdo is available through Daily Dot’s online store and is currently having a discount at 22%, which puts it at a price of $34.95. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with any games but you can find classic SNES titles on emulation, provided that you have the original game cartridge.

In addition to iOS and Android, the8bitdo also supports PC and Mac so you can use the controller to play SNES games on the PC by plugging it via the USB port.

What retro games would you play on your smartphone is you had the 8bitdo? Let us know in the comments!
