PUBG Mobile x Metro Crossover Event Now Live

A nuclear apocalypse looms over PUBG Mobile as their Metro Exodus crossover event is now running on full steam! Check out the event trailer below:

Try your hand at the unique combat mechanics and gameplay of PUBG MOBILE × Metro. Click on the metro tunnel entrance in your lobby to be transported to the whole new world of Metro Royale, a brand new game mode with new environments and new challenges!

Metro Royale

Arm yourself and enter the battlefield! Defeat enemies, search for supplies, score loot, get better gear, and amass a fortune! In the Metro Royale game mode, you must pick a loadout before entering a game. Once inside you’ll have to survive and find loot before extracting at one of the few predetermined extract points on the map. Once a player has used an extract point, it can no longer be used by other players, so you’ll have to be quick. Extracting means you get to bring everything you found back to your headquarters. If you fail to extract, everything on your person including the items you brought with you will be lost.

Don’t worry too much though as every time you enter the map, you’ll have access to a lockbox, a small item storage that you can store valuables in that will keep your items safe. Items in this lockbox will always be saved and can’t be looted by other players. This means it’s always a good idea to bring extra ammo or medication in the lockbox, and always put expensive items into it as soon as you loot them.

So what do you do with the items that you looted? You can check them out in the new Loadout Inventory system exclusive for Metro Royale. From there you can put attachments on weapons, store unused items, and sort through your trash. Trash items can be sold on the Black Market – the exclusive Metro Royale Shop – for Metro Cash. These can then be used to purchase more useful items for you to bring into your next run of Metro Royale!

Metro Royale features two unique maps based on Erangel that features ruins, trenches, a bandit camp, and other locations are waiting to be explored. There’s also a new underground world that includes unique combat mechanics and a railcar vehicle. The rewards are tempting, but danger lurks all around you. Watch out for enemies hiding in the shadows.

A new feature of Metro Royale is a PvEvP system. Aside from the other players who will be trying their best to reach the extract first, the map is populated by AI controlled bandits and monsters who will try to prevent the player from extracting safely. Players must decide whether to engage them and use up valuable ammunition, or to avoid them and pass over potentially valuable loot. Smart players will lie in wait near these encounters and let other players take on the NPCs before swooping in and grabbing the loot.

Metro Royale will also feature new gear and weapons specific to this game mode. These include:

Thermal Sight Attachment

Night Vision Scope and Goggles

Heavy Armor and Armor Attachments

Tikhar Rifle
