Sega Has Plans To Release Yakuza Series To Steam

Sega’s prequel of the Yakuza series has finally made it to PC via Steam and the developer has further plans to launch Yakuza 6 later this year.

In the company’s latest earnings report, Sega revealed its plans to launch Yakuza 6 on Steam in North America and Europe before 2019. This ought to provide the Yakuza series an opportunity to secure new fans since the series was PlayStation exclusive in the past. The company intends to release its past games to PC and this is all part of Sega’s continuing strategy of completely adopting the PC as one of its key platform.

Sega has yet to make nany official statements regarding Yakuza 6, however, the remake of Yakuza Kiwami will be heading to the PC soon. Yakuza 0 is priced at $19.99 and is currently available on Steam.
