Singapore’s New Bus Line Is Heading To Route 666
It seems that Singapore bus service has been receiving plenty of Satanic jokes and puns on the internet. It might be because the Land Transport Authority (LTA) decided to use the number 666 on one of its five newly launched bus routes.
666 is often referred to as the “number of the beast”, based on the Book of Revelations and the New Testament in Chapter 13 of most manuscripts. In popular culture, it is often associated with the Devil or Satan, and purgatory.
Which is why, upon the announcement, netizens were quick to crack jokes about the particular bus route.
Yay i finally have a bus service that will take me straight from home to hell… i mean work every morning!

This new bus service in Punggol will probably play one song and one song only – Highway To Hell by AC/DC.

As of right now, LTA has not made any changes to the bus route number. So, if you’re in Singapore, why not take a ride on the bus to hell?
