The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta

With less than a week before the beta for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” hits Playstation 4 (PS4) first, developer Treyarch has revealed a handful of details, including multiplayer maps, modes and some specialists that are defaults in the game.

Three multiplayer maps have been unveiled, all of which will be accessible in the beta. Hunted is the first map, which is located underneath a waterfall and in the mountains of Ethiopia. The Combine map is set in the Sahara, where the fighting will take place in tight quarters and a flank path. The last map will take players to Singapore’s quarantined zone.

There are seven game modes coming to this beta version. These modes include a number of fan favorites, including Capture the Flag, Demolition, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy and Team Deathmatch.

In addition to the game modes, there will be eight specialists to choose from, each of whom will have their own personalities, abilities and set of weapons. Some interesting abilities of the specialists includes Overdrive, which is a burst of speed in movement for a limited time, the Vision Pulse, which allows the player to reveal the location of enemies nearby, Glitch, where the player can go back to his previous position using the system mod, Battery, who can choose to deploy bullet-reflecting armor or a grenade launcher that shoots bouncing bombs of death, pictured in the headline image above. and Spectre can turn players invisible or slice up foes using wrist blades, as shown below:

In order to get access to the beta, players will need to pre-order the game. PS4 players will be able to frag each other from August 19 – 23, while Xbox One and PC owners can get in on the action from August 26 – 30.
